The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has yet again tried to distort the reality through their recent announcement stating that several security personnel have been leaving their stations because of threats. This unfounded rumor that tries to instill fear and division among people. In fact, there is no evidence of any personnel having abandoned their stations. The security forces in Pakistan are also resolute, firm, and resilient in ensuring that they protect their country and people against the violent activities of elements such as TTP. The TTP, in its quest to instill fear, will ultimately fail because the security forces are united in their mandate of providing security and safety in Pakistan.
Informed by a voracious desire to acquire power and control, the TTP aims at creating destruction by inspiring its followers to attack not only security agencies but also anybody who stands in the way of their violent agenda. With no moral justification, the TTP has over and over proved itself to be motivated by hatred and violence. They have nothing to do with humanity; nothing to do with the sanctity of life. The activities of the TTP are based on their wish to conquer and not to practice any real Islamic values as an extremist group.
The TTP and other groups like Hafiz Gul Bahadar (HGB) have no real religion behind their motives. They, instead, use Islam to please their power and control ambitions. Their real character is revealed by internal conflicts as well as drone attacks against each other’s members. These groups are not struggling on behalf of the religion but against selfish and destructive interests. Their infighting is evidence that their alleged religious zeal is only a disguise in their attempt to dominate, which has no foundation in the actual principles of the Islamic faith.
The TTP leader has disgracefully encouraged his followers to attack security forces and any other person in society who does not buy into their violent agenda. This is an appeal to violence, which is useless as they continue to spread terror. Nonetheless, the Pakistani state is determined to wipe out terrorism. The country is consolidated in fighting TTP baseless violence that is founded on extremism and hatred. Such incitement cannot erode the strength of the will of Pakistan, and the TTP’s violent campaign will eventually collapse in front of the collective will of the nation.
There is no justification for the terror of the TTP. They have a record of horrific violence against innocent people, and the Pakistani people can see through their lies and manipulation. Pakistan does not have room for such groups. The country is unwavering in its effort to make sure that its terror campaign is defeated. TTP can keep on manipulating and terrorizing, yet the truth of the matter is obvious: The people and the security officers will not overlook this sort of brutality. The collective will of the people and the law enforcement in Pakistan will see to it that the influence of TTP will keep on depreciating as their violent methods will further alienate them.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dir, Waziristan, and Lakki Marwat, societies are on the offensive against TTP cruelty. The citizens are standing against the TTP Khawarij philosophy, and they are rising against the violence that the TTP tries to subject them to. TTP control is slackening as the masses start to push. These territories are getting very autonomous in their influence, and the local populations are opposing the oppression and terror that TTP attempted to create. This opposition makes it clear that Pakistan will not give in to terror.
The decisive move by Pakistan against terrorist elements, even the TTP, is registering positive gains. Pakistan has a zero-tolerance approach to terrorism, and this approach has seen the security forces neutralizing many terrorists, including foreigners who have attempted to enter the country and disturb it. The struggle of the state, along with the great support of the population, will guarantee that TTP will not be able to bring havoc to the country by trying to destabilize it. Pakistan will not fall prey to the intimidation and falsehoods of the TTP. Instead, the country will keep its strong battle against terrorism and secure the future of the people.
To conclude, the TTP will not succeed in their lies, call to violence and terror to break the determination of Pakistan. The country is hardened and united and is striving to win the war on terror and secure a safe and prosperous future. The security forces in Pakistan and its citizens can deal with this threat. The terror regime of the TTP will end, and Pakistan will rise stronger out of this ordeal, united and determined in seeking its peace and security.
