A two-day book fair in Bannu, jointly organized by the Youth Affairs Department, the district administration, and the Pakistan Army, concluded successfully.
The closing ceremony was attended by a large number of people, including Deputy Commissioner Bannu Muhammad Fahim Khan, Commander 116 Brigade Brigadier Naveed Ahmad, Assistant Commissioner Allah Nawaz Khan, professors from various universities and colleges in the Bannu division, students, and citizens.
Booksellers from across Pakistan set up stalls showcasing a wide variety of books on religious, historical, geographical, literary, and cultural topics. The fair attracted significant public participation and interest.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Brigadier Naveed Ahmad emphasized the importance of reading, stating that it refines human personality, fosters positive thinking, and promotes awareness and understanding within society. He personally purchased books during the event. He urged students to cultivate a strong love for reading, highlighting it as a path to progress and positive change.
