A prominent commander of the banned Gul Bahadur Group, identified as Aleem Ul Haq, also known as Commander Mansoor Jani Khel, has been killed during a security operation in Bannu District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, security sources confirmed.

Mansoor was directly involved in multiple attacks against security forces, including a recent failed attempt to block a checkpoint in Tochi. Sources indicate that a fierce firefight erupted between security forces and the militants during the operation.

Mansoor sustained critical injuries during the exchange of fire. While his associates attempted to evacuate him, he succumbed to his wounds at the scene.
