Security forces have killed 22 Terrorists in a major and successful operation in Central Kurram. According to security sources, the operation targeted terroristshideouts based on intelligence.

The forces received secret information about the presence of terrorists in the Manato and Marzai areas. Acting quickly on the verified intelligence, they carried out highly skilled targeted operations. A heavy exchange of fire took place during the operation, leaving 22 terrorists dead on the spot, while several others were reported injured.

Sources said the terrorists had taken over a house near a populated area and fortified it. They had also planted a large amount of explosives inside. During the operation, the explosives detonated, completely destroying the house.

Some security personnel were reportedly injured during the clash and explosion and were moved to medical facilities for treatment. However, thanks to the professional planning of the security forces, no local civilians were harmed, and the area was kept safe.

Officials said operations will continue without interruption until the last terrorist is neutralized.
