Successful Security Forces Operations in Balochistan: 21 Terrorists Killed in Balochistan

Security forces and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted joint operations across various districts of Balochistan, killing at least 21 suspected terrorists. Additionally, four terrorists attempting to flee in women’s attire were arrested in Khuzdar.

​In the Ghazaband Aghbarg area of Quetta, an operation was launched based on intelligence from CTD officials. A gun battle lasting an hour ensued, resulting in the killing of 10 terrorists. Two security personnel were also injured during the exchange of fire. A significant quantity of weapons and explosive material was recovered from the site.

​In a separate action, security forces attacked a suspected camp of “Fitna-ul-Khawarij” in Mughal Kot, Sherani district, killing eight terrorists. Advanced weaponry and ammunition were also seized from this location.

​According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces, a total of 13 terrorists were killed in operations conducted on September 30 and October 1 in Quetta and Kech.

​The ISPR stated that the 10 terrorists killed in Quetta were “Indian-sponsored Khawarij” (referring to the proscribed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, TTP). Meanwhile, three terrorists affiliated with “Fitna-ul-Hindostan” were killed in Kech.

​The ISPR further reported that during an intelligence-based operation in Khuzdar, four terrorists were apprehended while attempting to escape in women’s clothing. These arrested individuals were allegedly linked to the Indian-supported group “Fitna-ul-Hindostan.”

​Security forces have reiterated their resolve to eradicate terrorism completely, vowing that all perpetrators and their facilitators will be brought to justice.
