At least seven people were injured after unknown men opened fire on a passenger bus in Kalat, Balochistan, on Wednesday.

The bus was travelling from Quetta to Karachi when unknown men fired on it near Nemurgh Cross in Kalat.

Visuals from the incident showed people injured and the bus crashed among the grass at a roadside.

The injured have been shifted to civil hospital Quetta. Police have begun an investigation.
