The media wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), issued a statement announcing that security forces successfully conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Sherani district of Balochistan province, resulting in the killing of seven India-backed terrorists.
According to the statement, security forces launched the operation on October 1, 2025, following a confidential tip-off regarding the presence of terrorists belonging to the Indian agent organization Fitnat-ul-Khawarij.
The ISPR reported that during the operation, the Pakistan Armed Forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ hideout, which led to an intense exchange of fire. This firefight resulted in the elimination of the seven terrorists. The ISPR further stated that the slain terrorists were involved in numerous subversive and terrorist activities in the region.
The statement also mentioned that a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosive material was recovered from the possession of the neutralized terrorists.
The ISPR added that a clearance operation is currently underway to ensure the elimination of any other remaining terrorists in the area.
