Security forces killed two terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan on Friday, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations.

According to the ISPR, the operation was carried out in Buleda in Balochistan’s Kech district.

“The killed terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area against the law enforcement agencies as well as the innocent civilians,” ISPR said in the statement.

ISPR added that a sanitisation operation was also carried out in the area to eliminate any other terrorists.

March 2025 saw 105 terrorist attacks in the country, highest since November 2014. A total of 73 security personnel and 67 civilians were killed in the attacks. A total of 88 militants died in the attacks while another 83 were killed by security forces operations. Balochistan was one of the most affected provinces with the deaths of 20 civilians and 37 security forces personnel being reported.
