Security forces kill 13 terrorists in multiple operations

Security forces killed 13 terrorists in multiple operations in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with another eight being arrested, the Inter-Services Public Relations said on Sunday. The operations were conducted on the basis of intelligence and multiple terrorist hideouts were destroyed.

According to ISPR, a joint operation was conducted by the Army along with Police, Levies, CTD and District Administration in Malakand. The operation was spread over four days, and resulted in nine terrorists being eliminated, eight being captured and two hideouts being destroyed.

In the other operation, four terrorists were killed in intelligence-based action in Kalat, Balochistan. ISPR said that the terrorists belonged to Fitna Al-Hindustan.

Sanitization operations were also carried out after the operations to eliminate any other terrorists in the area. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain terrorists.
