Security forces kill 13 terrorists in five KP operations

Security forces killed 13 terrorists in multiple areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in five different operations, according to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations.

ISPR said that all five operations were conducted between February 12 and 13. However, the statement did not announce any casualties to armed forces personnel.

According to the statement, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan killing five terrorists including Shah Gul alias Rohani.

Another five terrorists were killed in two separate encounters in Dosali and Tappi in North Waziristan.

An operation in Lakki Marwat killed two terrorists, while one more terrorist was killed in Khyber district’s Bagh area.

“Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as killing of innocent civilians,” ISPR said.

The statement also added that sanitization operations were conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area and reiterated that the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
