Seven terrorists associated with the India-backed outfit “Fitna Al-Khwarij” were eliminated in three separate security engagements across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 18 and 19 November 2025, said ISPR.

The first intelligence-based operation was launched in Mohmand District after reports of militant presence. Security forces engaged the suspects’ location, and following an intense exchange of fire, four terrorists were killed.

A second intelligence-driven operation in Lakki Marwat District resulted in the neutralization of two more terrorists as troops effectively responded to hostile fire, mentioned ISPR.

In a third encounter in Tank District, security personnel intercepted and eliminated another militant belonging to the same network.

Security forces have since begun extensive sanitization operations to clear the area of any remaining India-sponsored terrorists. The efforts are part of the ongoing counterterrorism initiative “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, aimed at eliminating foreign-backed terrorism from Pakistan.
