Rangers and CTD arrest three terrorists in Karachi

A joint operation by Sindh Rangers and Counter-Terrorism Department officials led to the arrest of three terrorists from Karachi.

According to a statement from the Rangers, the operation was carried out in Korangi on the basis of intelligence.

The terrorists were identified as Inamullah alias Lala, Naeemullah alias Umar Zali and Muhammad Taib alias Muhammad.

Rangers said that the terrorists belong to the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group, an affiliate of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.

The statement added that the three men had a history of involvement in terrorist attacks in Waziristan and had come to Karachi recently, where they were planning a terrorist attack.

Weapons and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, who have been handed over to the CTD for legal action.
