The Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10 resumes on Saturday, at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium with a match between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings. The tournament was briefly suspended due to security concerns stemming from escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, and an incident near the stadium. Initially, the remaining matches were to be relocated to the UAE.
However, all franchises have confirmed the availability of their international players, with several teams announcing new overseas signings to replace injured players. Islamabad United, for example, has added five international stars, while Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators have also made roster changes.
Key players like David Warner (Karachi Kings) and Ben McDermott (also Karachi Kings, according to Australian media) have confirmed their return to Pakistan to participate.
The remainder of the tournament will see a busy schedule, including a double-header at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on May 18, and matches leading up to the final on May 25 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The schedule includes qualifiers and eliminators, with match times varying between 3 pm and 8 pm local time. Quetta Gladiators currently lead the points table.
