Police repulsed an attack by armed men on a check-post at the border of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa without the loss of any life on Monday.

According to police sources, 10-15 armed men attacked the Lakhani check-post in the jurisdiction of the Vahowa police station in Punjab’s Dera Ghazi Khan district.

However, the officials at the checkpost fended off the attack, without any losses.

Last year this check post and police station was attacked multiple times by Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan.
