Security forces recently conducted a successful search and strike operation against ‘Fitna Al-Khawarij’ terrorists in the Darah Hasan Zai and Mir Gharah areas of the Orakzai district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The terrorists had been extorting money from the local population a few days prior. According to police, the security forces acted swiftly after the terrorists re-entered the area and attempted to intimidate the local population once again.
The operation was jointly led by District Police Officer Shaukat Ali and Orakzai Scouts Commandant Colonel Muddassir. The terrorists opened fire on police and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel, who responded effectively and with full force. Demonstrating immense bravery, the police and security forces continued their operation to clear the area, ultimately forcing the terrorists to flee.
This marks the first time that the police, administration, FC, and the public have united to confront and repel terrorists. The local community fully supported the security forces, raising slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad, Police Zindabad, and Pak Fauj Zindabad,” which proves the nation’s determination to eliminate peace-disrupting elements. This action sends a clear message that the state will not tolerate terrorists or any other enemies of peace under any circumstances.
