Pakistan has strongly condemned Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s remarks about the province of Sindh, calling them “delusional and dangerously revisionist.”
In a statement, the Foreign Office spokesperson said that such comments reflect an expansionist Hindutva mindset that seeks to challenge established territorial realities. The spokesperson added that this approach clearly violates international law, the sanctity of recognized borders, and the sovereignty of states.
Pakistan urged Rajnath Singh and other Indian leaders to refrain from making provocative statements that threaten regional peace and stability.
The spokesperson said it would be more constructive for India to focus on ensuring the safety of its own citizens, especially vulnerable minority communities. India should hold accountable those who incite or commit violence against them and end discrimination rooted in religious bias and historical distortions.
The statement also advised India to address the long-standing grievances of the people in its northeastern states, who, according to Pakistan, continue to suffer from systemic marginalization, identity-based persecution, and state-backed violence.
Reiterating its stance, Pakistan again called on India to take credible steps toward a genuine resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in line with UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
The spokesperson concluded that Pakistan remains committed to resolving all disputes with India peacefully, based on justice, equality, and recognized principles of international law. However, Pakistan will remain vigilant and determined, as always, to safeguard its security, national independence, and sovereignty.
