A meeting of the National Security Committee has been summoned at 10 am on Wednesday to review the situation after Pakistan retaliated to Indian missile strikes

In a statement, PM Shehbaz Sharif described the Indian attacks as cowardly acts of aggression perpetrated by a “cunning enemy.”

The PM declared that Pakistan reserves the right to respond forcefully to this act of war, which he implied was instigated by India. He asserted that a robust response is already underway.

The Prime Minister emphasized the unwavering resolve of the Pakistani people and armed forces, stating, “The entire nation stands with the Pakistan Armed Forces, and the morale and spirit of the Pakistani nation are high. The Pakistani nation and its armed forces know how to deal with the enemy. We will never allow the enemy to succeed in its nefarious objectives.”
