In the Lower Orakzai region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a major search and strike operation was successfully carried out in the areas of Babarki, Maraiu Chin, and Utman Khel. The operation was launched following intelligence reports about the presence of hideouts belonging to the terrorist group “Fitna-tul-Khawarij.”

The operation was conducted under the direct supervision of District Police Officer (DPO) Orakzai, Shoqat Ali, and led by DSP Lower Orakzai, Mehboob Khan. He was accompanied by Inspector Farooq Khan, Additional SHO of Kalaya Police Station, and Additional SHO of Karez Police Station. Personnel from the district police and elite commandos actively participated in the operation, displaying exceptional professionalism and dedication.

During the search operation, several suspected terrorist hideouts were effectively destroyed and set ablaze. The Orakzai Police swiftly cordoned off the entire area and continued a thorough clearance operation under strict security. According to officials, after the successful completion of the operation, the areas of Babarki, Maraiu Chin, and Utman Khel have been fully cleared of terrorist presence.

Speaking about the success, DPO Shoqat Ali delivered a strong message, stating:

“The Orakzai Police’s stance is clear — the ‘Fitna-tul-Khawarij’ terrorists will find no safe haven anywhere. Those who attempt to disturb peace and security will be dealt with an iron hand. Ensuring lasting peace in the region remains our top priority.”
