Leaked call allegedly shows RAW handler coordinating with terrorists to operate in Pak

A leaked conversation between members of a militant group has exposed the alleged involvement of India’s intelligence agency, RAW, in supporting and directing terrorist activities within Pakistan.

According to a report by ARY News, the intercepted communication, broadcast by AR reveals a direct link between RAW operatives and the renaming of a militant group, highlighting the agency’s alleged influence over terrorist operations targeting Pakistan.

The conversation, between two militants identified only as “Anas” (based in Afghanistan) and “Abu Zar” (based in North Waziristan), details how a RAW handler ordered the change of name for a militant group previously known as “Tehreek-e-Taliban Ghazwah-e-Hind.” The name change, according to the leaked audio, was deemed necessary because the original name was deemed too overtly anti-India.

The militants further discuss the acquisition of sniper weapons and other equipment for attacks against Pakistani security forces. This suggests a level of logistical and operational support provided by RAW, extending beyond mere financial assistance.

The intercepted communication also sheds light on another group, initially named “Inqilab-e-Islami Pakistan (Media Cell – Sada-e-Ghazwah-e-Hind)” in March 2025, which was subsequently renamed “Ittehad-ul-Mujahideen Pakistan” in April 2025, allegedly at the behest of a RAW handler.

Pakistani authorities have repeatedly stated that Indian intelligence agencies are working in collusion with terrorist groups to attack Pakistan. ISPR said that the largest ever fighting unit of 54 terrorists trying to infiltrate Pakistan had been eliminated in Waziristan. ISPR had added that the group had been working on the behest of ‘foreign masters’.
