Police in the Doaba area of Hangu district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, successfully carried out an operation against terrorists, resulting in the killing of one terrorist and the recovery of arms and explosive material from his possession.

​The operation was conducted on the orders of DPO Hangu, Khan Zeb Mohmand. The police team, comprising DSP Thal Mujahid Khan, SHO Doaba Imranuddin Khan, and Al-Barq Commandos, launched the action against miscreants who had set up an illegal checkpoint near the Dalan Bridge.

​Upon the arrival of the police party, the terrorists opened fire, prompting an effective retaliatory response from the police. During the intense exchange of fire, one terrorist was killed on the spot, while his accomplices managed to escape in a wounded condition.

​During the area clearance operation, the body of the slain terrorist was recovered. Authorities also seized an AK-47 assault rifle, hand grenades, and explosive material from his possession. The body has been transferred to a local hospital for necessary legal proceedings.

​DPO Hangu Khan Zeb Mohmand commended the bravery and performance of the personnel. He affirmed that the Hangu Police are resolute in their commitment to avenging the blood of their martyrs, particularly Shaheed SP Operations Asad Zubair Khan and other fallen heroes, and in restoring peace to the region. He further emphasized that no terrorist would be allowed to evade the law.
