Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, and Minister of State for Interior, Talal Chaudhry, revealed in a joint press conference on Saturday that India has launched a new propaganda campaign against Pakistan after the failure of ‘Operation Sandor’.
The ministers presented a video confession of a man named Ijaz Malah, in which he admitted supplying Pakistani army uniforms, currency, and other items to an Indian agent named Ashok. According to the confession, India intended to use these items to create fake evidence and spread false narratives against Pakistan.
Attaullah Tarar suggested that the operation might have been aimed at distracting attention from Indian naval exercises, domestic pressures, or upcoming elections in India.
Talal Chaudhry said that after Kulbhushan Jadhav, India is once again trying to use Pakistani fishermen for its operations. He confirmed that the video and audio evidence provided by Ijaz Malah fully exposed India’s plan.
The ministers emphasized that Pakistani security agencies are alert and fully capable of responding to any hostile activity. They accused India of staging fake encounters and fabricated incidents, and stressed that Pakistan will not compromise on its national security or allow its territory to be used against it.
During the press conference, audio of a conversation between Ijaz Malah and his Indian handler was played. In it, Malah was specifically instructed to bring Zong SIM cards to create the impression of Chinese involvement.
