Two consecutive explosions in the Bilyamina area of Hangu have left the city in mourning. The blasts claimed the lives of SP Operations Hangu, Asad Zubair, his gunman Dawood, and driver Atif.

According to sources, the first blast occurred near Bilyamina Police Station. Upon receiving the report, SP Operations Asad Zubair rushed to the site to assess the situation. While he was at the scene, a second powerful explosion occurred near his vehicle, martyring him and his two colleagues instantly.

Two additional police personnel were injured in the blasts and were immediately taken to DHQ Hospital Hangu for treatment. Earlier, the first explosion near the Ghalmina check post had destroyed a room, but no casualties were reported from that incident.

Following the attacks, police and security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. The city has been placed on high alert as authorities investigate the incident.
