Gold prices in Pakistan have reached a new all-time high. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose sharply by Rs. 5,800 per tola, bringing the new price to Rs. 440,900.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs. 4,972, reaching a record level of Rs. 378,000.

In the international market, gold also saw a rise of $58, trading at a record $4,198 per ounce.

According to international media reports, gold prices have increased by nearly 60% this year. The major reasons behind this rise include the Russia-Ukraine war, the Gaza-Israel conflict, global political tensions, U.S. tariffs, and expectations of interest rate cuts in the U.S. due to rising trade tensions with China.
