Security forces killed 11 terrorists in multiple intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the last two days.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations, the operations were conducted on March 26 and 27 in North Waziristan and Dera Ismail Khan.

Forces eliminated five terrorists in one operation in Waziristan’s Mir Ali area, while another three terrorists were killed in a separate operation in the same area. Another two terrorists were killed in Miran Shah.

The fourth operation took place in Dera Ismail Khan’s Daraban area, where one terrorist was killed.

“Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities,” ISPR said. The statement also added that sanitization operations were carried out to eliminate any other terrorists in the area.

According to an ISPR statement issued in December, security forces conducted 59,775 intelligence-based operations across the country in 2024. The operations resulted in the elimination of 925 terrorists.
