FIR registered for attack on Maulana Khan Zeb

An FIR has been registered for the deadly shooting incident in the Khar tehsil of Bajaur district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has resulted in the deaths of Maulana Khanzeb and a squad constable, Sherzada on Thursday. Three others sustained serious injuries in the attack on Thursday.

The incident occurred when Maulana Khan Zeb, along with his companions Shah Sawar, Usman, Constable Sherzada, and driver Muhammad Tariq, were returning home to Nawagai in their white CHR/NCP vehicle after completing a peace campaign. Near Bala, unknown terrorists opened fire on their vehicle.

Maulana Khan Zeb and Constable Sherzada died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds. Shah Sawar, Usman, and Muhammad Tariq were critically injured. The vehicle was also severely damaged.

The victims and the injured were immediately taken to the DHQ Hospital in Khar. The casualty in-charge has been informed to prepare death certificates and injury reports.

According to the police report, the incident was witnessed by onlookers. A case has been registered against the unknown terrorists, and the investigation has been assigned to Inspector Falak Naz Khan.
