The headquarter of a wing of the Frontier Corps was attacked by terrorists in Jandola, Tank, on Thursday. However, the attack was foiled and all 10 terrorists were killed.
According to reports, a suicide bomber exploded himself at the gate of the fort. Videos on social media also showed a plume of smoke rising from the area. The sounds of intense firing were heard after the explosion.
Security forces prevented the fort from being breachead. All 10 attackers were killed in the response from security forces.
The proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack.
This is the second suicide bombing claimed by the terrorist group in 2025. In January, TTP had attacked an FC compound in Qilla Abdullah after the killing of Qari Ismail, a ‘shadow governor’ appointed by the group.
