Explosion at army fort in Khyber’s Tirah Valley injures three soldiers

An explosion struck a Pakistan Army fort in the Tirah Valley area of Khyber district on Friday, leaving three soldiers of the 26 FF unit injured, according to security sources.

According to local sources, the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber driving an explosive-laden vehicle.

The wounded personnel were shifted to a nearby military dispensary, where they are receiving medical treatment. Officials have not yet shared details about their condition.

Security officials confirmed that an investigation is underway to determine the nature and cause of the blast. Following the incident, security measures in the area were further tightened.
