Eight Pakistani nationals were killed in Mehristan area of Sistan and Balochistan in Iran on Saturday.

According to an official with the direct knowledge of the incident, all eight Pakistanis were working as car mechanics in the area.

“This area is 230 kilometres away from Pak-Iran border that is why we are having some trouble in gathering information. But it is confirmed that eight Pakistani nationals have been killed and further investigations are going on,” the official said.

This is the second incident this year in which Pakistani nationals were killed in Iran.
