Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across Pakistan today with traditional festivities and religious devotion across the country today.
The day began with massive congregations for Eid prayers across the country. Prayers were offered for Pakistan’s prosperity and fight against terrorism as well as Muslims worldwide.
Special prayers were also made for the people of Gaza facing onslaught from Israeli forces.
Federal and provincial governments have issued week-long holidays for schools and government offices to mark the occasion.
Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan and is one the most blessed days of the year, seen as the reward for a month of fasting.
