In view of the ongoing intelligence-based operation against militants in the Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Deputy Commissioner of Karak has imposed a complete ban on public movement to maintain law and order.
According to government officials, at least 14 militants linked to the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan were killed in an operation conducted on Friday in the Abbasa Khattak area of Karak, while three security personnel were also injured during the operation.
The restriction has been imposed in the village of Darsha Khel (Shino Gaddi Khel) in Takht Nusrati Tehsil of Karak district due to the targeted operation against terrorists, to ensure the safety of citizens and law enforcement agencies.
The Deputy Commissioner of Karak, using his powers under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, has imposed a curfew from 10:00 PM on September 26, 2025, to 2:00 PM on September 27, 2025.
Under this order, the movement of all individuals, including walking, using vehicles and all kinds of traffic has been completely banned within the limits of Darsha Khel village.
The public has been strictly advised to stay inside their homes during the specified time and to abide by this order. Legal action will be taken against violators under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
