DC Bangulzai’s Swift Action Speeds Up Repatriation of Afghan Refugees at Chaman Border

Deputy Commissioner of Chaman District, Habib Ahmed Bangulzai, visited the Pak-Afghan border at Bab-e-Dosti to review the ongoing process of voluntary repatriation of Afghan refugees. During his visit, he issued strict instructions to the staff at the border to immediately remove all obstacles hindering the refugees’ return.

As a result of the strong measures taken by the district administration, the repatriation process has significantly accelerated. Due to the personal involvement and effective strategy of DC Bangulzai, NADRA staff now completes the registration of refugee families immediately upon their arrival at the border, after which they are sent across to Afghanistan without delay.

Thanks to the swift action of the government, no refugee families stayed overnight at the border camp. Only newly arrived families were present, and their registration was completed early in the morning before they were also sent back to Afghanistan.

The Afghan refugees expressed deep gratitude to the district administration for ensuring such a smooth and speedy repatriation process and conveyed their best wishes to the officials.

Meanwhile, political and social circles in Chaman have praised DC Habib Ahmed Bangulzai’s performance, commending him for providing excellent and exemplary facilities to refugees during their return. They said the Deputy Commissioner’s efforts have ensured the effective implementation of the government’s policy and expressed hope that this commendable work of the administration will continue.
