Curfew Imposed in Parts of South Waziristan and Jandola Subdivision of Tank on September 22

The district administration has announced that a curfew will be enforced on September 22, 2025, in South Waziristan Upper, South Waziristan Lower (Wana), and the Jandola subdivision of District Tank. The curfew will remain in effect from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

During this time, all movement within the limits of these districts will be strictly prohibited. All markets will remain closed. The administration has instructed citizens to remain confined to their homes and strictly observe the curfew regulations.

In view of the curfew, entry on the following major routes will be strictly prohibited:

Affected routes in South Waziristan Upper:

  • Tawda Cheena – Makeen – Bibi Ragzai – Sararogha – Kotkai – Spin Kai Ragzai – Nazar Khel
  • Dargai Bridge – Madi Jan – Shin Warsak – Mola Khan Sarai – Chagmalai
  • Sarwekai – Mola Khan Sarai – Barwand

Affected route in South Waziristan Lower (Wana):

  • Wana – Tiarza Gate – Karb Kot – Tanai – Azizabad Chowk – Dargai Bridge

Affected areas in Jandola subdivision of District Tank:

  • Jandola Bazaar will remain completely closed.
  • Prohibited route: Kor Qila – Khargai – Jandola

The administration has clarified that travel on affected routes will only be permitted in case of emergency. However, passengers must first obtain permission from the police or security forces and submit their identity cards and other required documents before being allowed to proceed.

Citizens have been urged to fully cooperate with the administration in maintaining law and order.
