At least four children died and 35 were injured in a bomb attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan, on Wednesday.
Khuzdar Deputy Commissioner Yasir Iqbal Dashti has confirmed the incident, adding that the incident took place near Zero Point. Emergency has been imposed in nearby hospitals.
Police and FC personnel have reached the site and have begun an investigation. The DC said that the attack could be a suicide bombing.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attack and expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of four children. He also extended his condolences to their families.
In a statement, Naqvi said that terrorists who target children do not deserve any leniency and called the attack an attempt to create instability in the country.
