BLA claims responsibility for attack on soldiers in Mastung

The outlawed Baloch Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the attack that claimed the lives of three soldiers including a major-ranked officer in Balochistan’s Mastung on Tuesday.

Although the Inter-Services Public Relations has not issued a statement on the incident, district administration confirmed that a vehicle carrying the soldiers was targeted in an explosion in a Mastung’s Kardigap tehsil.

While most of the convoy remained unaffected, one vehicle was severely damaged claiming the lives of three soldiers and injuring three others.

The BLA later claimed responsibility for the attack, claiming that the bomb was detonated remotely.
