Baluchistan CM Condemns Killing of Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Afzal and Son, Vows Justice

Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Chief Minister of Baluchistan, has strongly condemned the killing of Assistant Commissioner of Ziarat, Muhammad Afzal, and his son. He said the act was inhumane and brutal, adding that no amount of condemnation would be enough.

​The Chief Minister paid tribute to the late Assistant Commissioner, describing him as an honest, dedicated, and capable officer who worked with integrity for his people. He emphasized that the sacrifices of Muhammad Afzal, who was martyred in the line of duty, would always be remembered.

​Mir Sarfraz Bugti vowed that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not be in vain. He stated that the killers of these innocent people and the enemies of peace would not be forgiven and would be brought to justice.

​The Chief Minister also expressed his condolences to the families of the victims, assuring them that the government stands with them in this time of grief and sorrow. He added that their sacrifice would pave the way for peace in Baluchistan.

​Two months ago, unknown individuals abducted Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Afzal and his son in Ziarat. A few days ago, the kidnappers released a video in which they demanded the government meet their demands. Previously, the Baluchistan government had offered a reward of 50 million rupees for the arrest of the kidnappers.The dead body of the abducted assistant commissioner was found yesterday.
