An attempt to abduct the three-year-old daughter of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering, Pakhtun Yar Khan, was thwarted. The incident occurred near the minister’s residence.

According to reports, unidentified individuals on a motorcycle attempted to forcibly snatch the child. However, the child’s screams alerted nearby residents. The commotion caused by the locals startled the abductors, forcing them to abandon the child approximately one kilometer away before fleeing the scene. Thankfully, the child was recovered unharmed.

Local residents’ swift response and intervention prevented a potentially tragic outcome. Police have launched an investigation into the incident, initiated a search for the unidentified abductors, and increased security in the area. The public has expressed relief at the safe recovery of the minister’s daughter and demanded the swift arrest of those responsible.
