Unknown armed men attacked a construction company’s camp near Ziarat district in Balochistan, burning machinery worth millions of rupees and abducting the site foreman. The incident caused heavy financial losses for the company and raised serious concerns about the security situation in the area.
According to reports, the attackers stormed the camp late last night. They took the camp staff hostage and locked them in rooms before forcibly abducting the site foreman and taking him away.
After the kidnapping, the armed men set fire to valuable machinery, large generators, and residential quarters. Equipment worth millions of rupees was destroyed, causing severe financial damage to the company.
The attack has drawn strong criticism of the district administration and security authorities. Sources from the affected company said they had repeatedly requested increased security at the camp and the deployment of Levies personnel, but no action was taken.
