Security forces killed five terrorists in multiple operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including one highly-wanted terrorist.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, the operations were carried on April 30 and May 1. In addition to the terrorists killed, at least two terrorists were arrested as well.

ISPR added that the first operation was carried out in Bajaur based on intelligence. In the operation, a terrorist hideout was effectively engaged resulting in the death of three terrorists including Fareed Ullah, a high value target.

The second IBO was conducted in Dossali, North Waziristan District, where another two terrorists were killed.

Yet another operation was carried out in Mohmand district, where two terrorists, including another high-value target Lal Ameer alias Ibrahim, were arrested.

“Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” ISPR added.
