A group of 197 private educational institutions in Lakki Marwat have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with District Police Officer Muhammad Jawad Ishaq to provide free and subsidized education to the children of police martyrs, survivors and serving police officers.

The agreement, reached between the Lakki Marwat Private Educational Institutions Association and the DPO, ensures that children of police personnel who died in the line of duty, those who suffered injuries, and those currently serving will receive significant educational support.

Children of police martyrs will receive completely free education at all participating private schools.  Children of injured and serving police officers will receive a 50% discount on tuition fees.  The same 50% discount will also be extended to children of police officers who died during their service.

DPO Muhammad Jawad Ishaq stated that this initiative is aimed at improving the welfare of police personnel and their families, enabling their children to access quality education. Irfan Khan, president of the Private Educational Institutions Association, expressed pride in the police force and paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the martyrs.

He highlighted the financial difficulties often faced by children of martyrs after the loss of their parents, emphasizing that this agreement ensures that such children will not be deprived of education. The agreement aims to mitigate these difficulties, providing free education for the children of martyrs and significantly reduced fees for the children of serving and deceased officers.
