A wave of violence in Kech district, Balochistan, left three people dead on Monday.
Two members of the Hindu community, Hari Lal and Moti Lal, were shot and killed near the Star Plus market in Turbat while another man, Shero Mal, was injured. Police have labelled the Turbat incident a targeted killing, though no group has claimed responsibility.
The victims were from Sanghar, Sindh. In a separate incident in Buleda, a man identified as Muhammad Hayat was also gunned down by unknown assailants.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti condemned the attacks and ordered the immediate arrest of the perpetrators.
Earlier this month, terrorists martyred 18 soldiers in an attack in Kalat. In response, the army had killed 23 terrorists in multiple operations in Kalat and Harnai.
