Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Secretary, Ali Larijani, announced on his X account that during his latest trip to Pakistan, he informed Pakistani leaders that President Masoud Pezeshkian had issued key instructions aimed at clearing away both security and economic hurdles between the two nations.
He further noted that the SNSC itself is preparing to remove any outstanding limitations connected to these concerns, signalling Iran’s readiness to expand cooperation.
Larijani said he engaged in talks on long-term strategic collaboration with Pakistan’s President, Prime Minister, Army Chief, Speaker of Parliament, National Security Adviser, and Foreign Minister. He emphasized that Iran places no restrictions on the depth or scope of its partnership with Pakistan.
At the same time, he pointed out that more drive and concrete steps are required from both sides to move joint plans forward. As outlined in the statement, Tehran and Islamabad agreed to create strong mechanisms to ensure proper monitoring and execution of their decisions.
Conveying a hopeful outlook, Larijani said the current trajectory suggests a promising and strengthened future for relations between Iran and Pakistan.
