Twenty terrorists affiliated with the Indian-backed group Fitna al Khwarij were killed in two separate intelligence-based operations conducted by Pakistani security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province on 8 and 9 November, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The first operation was carried out in the Shawal area of North Waziristan District following reports of terrorists presence. During the engagement, security forces effectively targeted the location, resulting in the elimination of eight Indian-sponsored militants, ISPR stated.

In a separate intelligence-based operation in the Dara Adam Khel area, security forces engaged in an intense exchange of fire with the terrorists, successfully neutralizing twelve more terrorists, ISPR added.

Following the operations, sanitization efforts are underway to clear the area of any remaining threats. Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies have reaffirmed their commitment to the ongoing counterterrorism campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam”, as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country, ISPR concluded.
