Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Noshki district, Yusuf Reki, who hails from the Surab area of Balochistan, has reportedly gone missing from the Gargina region.

According to sources within the security forces, SDPO Yusuf Reki was traveling in his private vehicle toward his home in Surab via Kothal late last night when unknown armed men abducted him at gunpoint near Gargina.

Sources said that Reki’s last communication was a late-night phone call to his wife, during which he informed her about his abduction. Immediately after the call, his mobile phone was switched off.

The incident has been confirmed by SSP Noshki Allah Bakhsh Baloch, who stated that police and security agencies have launched a large-scale search operation in the area to recover the abducted officer and trace the perpetrators.

It is worth noting that the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has previously been involved in the abduction of assistant commissioners and other government officials, and therefore, its involvement in this incident cannot be ruled out.
