Deadly Terrorist Attack on Security Post in D.I. Khan: 4 Guards Killed, 11 Wounded

Terrorists attacked a security check post belonging to the Frontier Corps’ Protection of National Infrastructure (FC PNI) unit near Kot Lallu in Dera Ismail Khan district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The post was responsible for guarding the base camp and pipeline of the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) company. Official sources have confirmed the tragic incident.

​The exchange of fire with the terrorists resulted in the martyrdom of four brave personnel, including one Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), and injured 11 other security personnel.
The wounded individuals were immediately transported to CMH (Combined Military Hospital) Dera Ismail Khan for medical treatment.

​Following the attack, additional security forces quickly arrived to cordon off the area and launched a large-scale search operation to hunt down the culprits.

However, the attackers managed to escape the scene after the firing. Authorities have stated that the bodies of the martyred personnel will be sent to their hometowns with full official honours.
