PTI is aiding terrorists, and the imprisoned leader is their ‘chief sponsor,’ says Atta Tarar

Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of spreading unrest in the country and facilitating terrorists. He claimed that the “man sitting in jail” is the chief sponsor of terrorists and that during his tenure, peace in the country was destroyed by bringing back militant groups.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Thursday, the minister said that a “disruptive group” exists in the country that seeks to destabilize law and order. He asserted that the entire PTI leadership acts as a facilitator of terrorists.

Atta Tarar paid tribute to the martyrs of the nation, saying that the people of Pakistan salute the courage and determination of their brave soldiers, whose funeral prayers were attended by the Prime Minister and the Field Marshal.

He claimed that military operations such as Radd-ul-Fasaad and Zarb-e-Azb had restored peace in the country, but during the tenure of the “man sitting in jail,” the National Action Plan was dismantled, allowing terrorists to return. “Terrorists were brought back, and facilitation continues to this day,” he said.

Citing former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s past statements, Tarar said that Khan had referred to the militants as “good people” and suggested holding talks with them to bring them back. He added that the person currently in jail is the chief sponsor of terrorists and vowed that those attempting to create instability in the country would not be allowed to succeed.

The minister stressed that terrorists do not spare innocent people and have attacked mosques and schools, adding that bringing them back was an act equivalent to betrayal of the nation.
