Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Zhob and Sherani districts of Balochistan, achieving a significant success.
According to reports, the security forces had received secret intelligence regarding the presence of a Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) camp near the Pak-Afghan border in the Mughal Kot area of Zhob district.
According to security sources a heavy exchange of fire took place between the security forces and the terrorists during the operation. As a result of this exchange of fire, eight terrorists were killed.
The slain terrorists were referred to by security sources as Fitnah-ul-Khawaj.
Security forces also recovered a substantial amount of weapons and ammunition from the possession of the neutralized terrorists.
This operation is part of ongoing efforts to maintain peace and order in the region and eliminate the threat of terrorism.
