Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Zhob and Sherani districts of Balochistan, achieving a significant success.

According to reports, the security forces had received secret intelligence regarding the presence of a Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) camp near the Pak-Afghan border in the Mughal Kot area of Zhob district.

​According to security sources a heavy exchange of fire took place between the security forces and the terrorists during the operation. As a result of this exchange of fire, eight terrorists were killed.

​The slain terrorists were referred to by security sources as Fitnah-ul-Khawaj.

 Security forces also recovered a substantial amount of weapons and ammunition from the possession of the neutralized terrorists.

​This operation is part of ongoing efforts to maintain peace and order in the region and eliminate the threat of terrorism.
