Security forces have launched a large-scale operation in the Zehri area of Balochistan’s Khuzdar district based on credible intelligence against a terrorist group named Fitna-ul-Hindustan.

Security sources reported that confirmed intelligence indicated the presence and movement of terrorists in the surrounding mountains of Zehri. These terrorists were also reportedly oppressing local residents. Due to the increase in terrorist activities, forces decided to act quickly and launch the operation.

Sources further stated that so far, seven terrorists from Fitna-ul-Hindustan have been killed in the operation, with reports also indicating that ten others have been wounded.

According to the sources, ground forces are being utilized in these operations, along with helicopters.

From the slain terrorists, security personnel recovered Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), transmitters, American-made automatic weapons, hand grenades, ammunition, and motorcycles.

Security forces acted promptly and successfully defused a large IED that had been planted on the Bado Kasht central bridge, averting a major danger.

Security sources have vowed to continue the operation until the Fitna-ul-Hindustan group, which they claim is carrying out subversive activities at the behest of India, is completely eliminated from Zehri and the whole of Balochistan.
