Suicide Attack Near FC Headquarters in Quetta Kills 6, Wounds 19

​A horrific suicide bombing and shooting near the FC (Frontier Corps) Headquarters located close to Model Town, Quetta, has resulted in the deaths of 6 people and injuries to 19 others. According to local sources, the blast occurred in a sensitive area and was heard over a wide distance. The intensity of the attack also caused damage to the windows of nearby buildings and houses.

​Security sources have attributed the responsibility for the attack to Fitnah Al-Hindostan. Sources state that the suicide bomber was wearing an FC uniform and was accompanied by three other terrorists. In a timely response, security forces killed all four terrorists. During the exchange of fire and the blast, two FC personnel were also injured.

​Rescue teams transported the bodies of the 6 deceased and the 19 injured to hospitals. Health Minister Bakht Mohammad Kakar confirmed the fatalities. Immediately after the incident, the Health Minister and Health Secretary declared an emergency in Civil Hospital, BMC, and the Trauma Center, directing all medical staff to immediately report to the hospitals. Clouds of smoke were seen rising after the blast, and the post-blast scenes at the Pishin Stop were recorded on CCTV.

​Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has strongly condemned the recent bomb blast in Quetta.

​The Chief Minister stated that security forces took immediate and effective action following the incident, successfully killing four terrorists. He emphasized that terrorists cannot dampen the nation’s resolve with such cowardly acts.

​Mir Sarfraz Bugti paid tribute to the martyrs and affirmed that the sacrifices made by the people and the security agencies would not be in vain. He reiterated his unwavering commitment to making Balochistan a peaceful and safe province. He also expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured.
