Successful operation by security forces in Lakki Marwat: 17 terrorists killed

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the night of September 26-27, following a tip-off about the presence of extremists. According to ISPR, these extremists belonged to “Fitna Al-Khawarij” and were described as an Indian-backed proxy.
​ISPR stated that during the operation, security forces effectively targeted the militants’ hideout, resulting in the killing of 17 Indian-backed “Khawarij.” A large cache of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the possession of the killed extremists.

​According to ISPR, these individuals were involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces and law enforcement agencies, as well as in the murder of innocent civilians.

​The ISPR statement also mentioned that a sanitization operation is underway in the area to eliminate any other Indian-backed “Khariji” elements.

​The Security Forces of Pakistan reiterated their resolve to eradicate the menace of Indian-backed terrorism from the country.
