Two Rescue 1122 personnel tragically lost their lives while attempting to rescue a man trapped in a coal mine in the Bazai Khel Dara Adam Khel area of Kohat district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to details, the Rescue 1122 control room received an emergency call reporting a person trapped inside a coal mine in the area. Rescue workers Ruh-ul-Ameen and Salahuddin immediately responded to the scene. Driven by a commitment to saving lives, the two officers entered the mine without hesitation to rescue the trapped individual.

However, during the rescue operation, a devastating turn of events occurred. Both brave officers became trapped themselves and ultimately sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. Their selfless dedication and courage in the face of danger are being lauded. The trapped miner’s condition is not yet known.
